My path into technology wasn't a straight line. It started with hands-on technical work: understanding machines, systems and how things are actually built. That foundation still shapes how I work today: practical, hands-on, close to the material.

From there, the journey moved through project management and event operations: years of coordinating people, processes and logistics. It taught me how organisations actually work, how decisions get made, and what it means to be responsible for an outcome rather than a task.

Digital products brought all of it together. First through UX and product design, then through building and running real products. Today I work across design, technology and business as an independent builder of my own products.

What connects every step: curiosity and the desire to build things that matter. The disciplines changed. The approach didn't.

Timeline

The path so far.

  1. 2007-2014 Technical & Industrial Background

Hands-on technical work built the foundation: understanding how things are made, how systems fail and how to fix them.

  2. 2015-2021 Project Management & Operations

Leading projects and running event operations added the other half of the picture: people, processes, logistics and responsibility for outcomes.

  3. 2021-2023 Digital Products & UX

The move into product design and development connected the dots, turning an understanding of operations into digital products that solve real problems.

  4. Since 2022 AI & Software Development

Since 2022, artificial intelligence has been an integral part of daily work, from applying AI to building the systems around it.

  5. Since 2023 Independent Builder

Working independently on own products (Wichtelkompass and eventOz) and on the intersection of design, technology and AI.

Current Focus

Two products in the market: Wichtelkompass, an active childcare platform, and eventOz, an event platform in active development. Around them: agent engineering, harness engineering and the question of how reliable AI systems are actually built.
